La transmission fait partie, depuis la création du Printemps Musical des Alizés de l’ADN du festival.

L’académie des Alizés a été dédiée pendant plusieurs années aux instruments, et cette année, pour la première fois, en partenariat avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, elle est dédiée aux jeunes chefs d’orchestre confirmés à l’aube d’une carrière internationale. 

Après une résidence de 4 jours à Rabat aux cotés de l’Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, les académiciens dirigent les 2 concerts public du Festival Printemps Musical des Alizés, Festival qui s’impose sur la scène musicale depuis plus de 20 ans.

Since its creation, the Printemps Musical des Alizés has placed transmission at the very core of its identity.
For several years, the Académie des Alizés was dedicated to instrumentalists. This year marks an exciting evolution: for the first time, in partnership with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Morocco, the academy will focus on promising young conductors standing at the threshold of an international career.
Following a four-day residency in Rabat alongside the Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc, the academy's participants will conduct the two public concerts of the Printemps Musical des Alizés Festival, an event that has established itself as a key player on the musical scene for over 20 years

Répétitions et concerts

  • 100 min. de temps de podium pour chaque participant actif avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique du Maroc à Rabat.

  • 2 concerts publics au Printemps Musical des Alizés à Essaouira.

  • 60 min. de cours individuel avec accompagnement au piano pour chaque participant actif.

Planning

 

Rabat

  • 26 & 27 avril : Répétitions avec accompagnement de piano.

  • Du 27 au 30 avril : Répétitions avec orchestre.

  • Un départ en groupe à destination d’Essaouira sera organisé et couvert par l’organisation depuis Rabat.

Essaouira

  • 2 répétitions avec orchestre et solistes.

  • 2 répétitions en costume (une par concert).

  • 2 concerts publics (Nous partagerons quelques photos pour que vous puissiez avoir une idée du festival).

  • Concerts les 2 et 3 mai (La participation aux concerts sera accordée après l'approbation de M. Baxa suite aux répétitions à Rabat).

Inscription

​

-  Frais de scolarité : 1 490 EUR incluant le transport depuis l’aéroport, le transport entre Rabat et Essaouira, et l’hébergement à Essaouira (pas à Rabat).

- Les candidats doivent remplir le formulaire d'inscription en ligne avec un enregistrement vidéo ci-joint (minimum 5 minutes) d’eux-mêmes diriger un concert ou opéra. Les vidéos de répétition ou de représentation sont acceptables.

- Date limite de présentation des demandes : 1er avril 2025

- La préférence de répertoire de chaque candidat sera discutée après une candidature réussie.

Rehearsals & Concerts

  • 100 min. of podium time for each active participant with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Morocco in Rabat.

  • 2 public concerts at the Printemps Musical des Alizés in Essaouira.

  • 60 min. individual lesson with the piano accompaniment for each active participant.

Rabat

  • April 26 & 27: Rehearsals with the piano accompaniment

  • April 27–30: Rehearsals with orchestra

A group departure to Essaouira will be arranged and covered by the organization from Rabat

Essaouira

  • 2 rehearsals with orchestra and soloists

  • 2 dress rehearsals (one per concert)

  • 2 public concerts (We will share some photos so you can get an idea of the festival)

  • Concerts on May 2 & 3 (Participation in the concert will be subject to your approval of M Baxa following the rehearsals in Rabat).

Application

​

-  Tuition fee : 1,490 EUR including airport transport, transport between Rabat and Essaouira, and accommodation in Essaouira (not Rabat)

- Candidates should fill in online application form with an attached video recording (minimum length 5 minutes) of themselves conducting a concert or opera. Rehearsal or performance videos are acceptable

- Application deadline: April 1st, 2025

- The repertoire preference of each candidate will be discussed after a successful application.
